Proof That Landscaping Is An Art Form

If you thought that landscaping was just a bunch of digging, planting and grueling yard work, then it is my pleasure to enlighten you.  Join me in a short, visual adventure through the out-of-the-box gardens of landscaper and artiste, Rod Russel-Ides.  Believe me, you won’t want this picture show to end.

The focal points of this water garden are the copper planter boxes and glass disc on a copper pedestal.

Orbit-Shaped Stone and Wood Terrace

These are just a few of the stunning landscapes in Rod Russell-Ides’ repertoire of  Signature Gardens. Yes, he makes our pieces look  magical (see glass disc and water jars above) and we do love it when he incorporates them into his space, but  most of the time he creates wonderful art all on his own.

Rod’s ability to make stones come alive, to create a Zen flow in the garden, is magical. Rod is an artist in many forms – a sculptor, songwriter, singer, landscape designer – one who can take a clent’s hazy vision and turn it into reality. He certainly did so in my garden. Each design is unique, truly a work of art. If you want breathtaking AND affordable, hire Rod Russell-Ides.

What I love is about Rod’s work with gardens is his fall in love passion about it. The result is stunning. A tired corner comes alive. A stale flat patch of dirt sings. Angles become curves. Curves beckon. Yes, he is that passionate. The dirt around your home will become a garden and it will be beautiful.
